Mecha Monday: Michael Fichtenmayer’s Wing Gundam Ver. Ka Skull Squad Custom
Welcome back to Mecha Monday here on Nerdeux, bringing you a look at some of the finest custom-built mech models from across the web! This week I decided to feature one of my favorite pieces from Michael Fichtenmayer, AKA FichtenFoo. The man is nothing short of a master at the craft of customizing models, and writes some fantastic tutorials on the process. This piece, a Wing Gundam Ver. Ka painted in the colors of Roy Fokker and the Skull Squadron from Robotech, is simply a delight to look at from the model itself to it’s lovely display. Hit the jump for more photos and head over to FichtenFoo for more kits and tutorials!

Mecha Monday: Siegmund’s Crimson 00 Raiser Qan[T] Master Grade
Trying out a new formula for Mecha Monday from now on; rather than try to aggregate news about various mecha-related things from across the web every week, I’m going to focus on the whole reason I wanted to start this feature: really, really well-done customized Gundam models. Every week I’ll feature a particularly well-done kit I’ve discovered, or occasionally post my own progress or tutorials. This week, we’re taking a look at a custom-colored 00 Raiser Qan[T] Master Grade kit by siegmund of Figure.Fm. Hit the jump for the some of the photos, and head over to his Figure.Fm page to see them all!
